Peer Coaching between Graduate Teaching Assistants I

Abstract

Anastasiya Smith and Doina Grecu will talk on the topic of peer coaching between graduate teaching assistants who are assigned language courses to teach. They will share our insight into effective strategies of organizing peer coaching processes, ways to document the ongoing observation, providing feedback, and the outcomes for our teaching as a result of such collaboration. We will also talk about how peer coaching and its features can align with direct supervision of GTAs by the department decision-makers.
