Abstract

Lesson planning and lesson implementation are central to novice teacher training. This presentation will examine the principles of lesson planning and the place of diagnostic teaching and Stanislavski’s System in implementing a lesson plan in relation to different elements of novice teacher training, e.g. class observations, post–teaching debriefs, observation response papers, and seminars on language pedagogy.
