Abstract

Bohdan Hawrylyshyn, one of the founders of the Club of Rome and of the Davos Economic Forum, devoted the first part of his life to imagining a way to transitioning to a more democratic and sustainable economy. This paper analyses his thoughts and actions both as a theoretician and as a key political advisor to Ukrainian presidents and governments after 1991.
