Abstract

The presentation deals with gender models, especially heroic masculinities in the escalation of the current military conflict between Russia and Ukraine. In addition, their prominence in the identity narratives of the warring parties is placed against the background of the ongoing socio-political and economic turmoil after the dissolution of the USSR.
