Abstract

This paper explores Mongolia’s foreign policy options at the time of an ever-closer alignment between Moscow and Beijing. It argues that despite growing constraints, Mongolia has managed so far to keep its two difficult neighbors at an arm’s length and maintain its third neighbor policy.
