Communicating Russia’s Legislative Stagnation to the Press and Policymakers: Lessons from OVD-Info

Abstract

While scholars posses great insight and expertise vis-à-vis studying repression in Russia they are often struggling with disseminating their knowledge outside hyper-specific academic sectors. My paper will focus on bridging the gap between academia and policy/media — on how to best communicate the important changes in the Russian legal system outside of the academia and impact policy change.
