The histories and cultural traditions of Indigenous communities living in the Russian Federation have often been side-lined in research on the region. In fact, there are plenty of collections across the world that demonstrate the richness of these traditions. This round table showcases museum and library collections that shed light on Indigenous history, art, and literature of Russian Arctic and Siberia. Collections under review include those of the Library of Congress, the National Museum of Natural History, the American Museum of Natural History, and the Institute of Social and Cultural Anthropology at the University of Hamburg.
