This session will discuss a new book (2024) "The Unpredictable Past? Reshaping Russian, Ukrainian, and East European Studies," edited by Volodymyr Kravchenko and Marko Robert Stech, in which 30 international scholars discuss the challenges and opportunities presented to the fields of Russian, Ukrainian, and East European studies by the Russian Federation's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 and its aftermath.
