Brief Description

This roundtable examines the hundred-year legacy of Evald Ilyenkov (1924-1979), one of the most important and dynamic philosophers of the Soviet era. The roundtable members will discuss the influence of Ilyenkov both within Soviet philosophy, as well as in late Soviet culture more broadly. Topics addressed include psychology, cybernetics, aesthetics, and pedagogy.
