Abstract

Party officials launched an attack on the Jewish Anti-Fascist Committee as soon as the Red Army began liberating the occupied territories. Although the criticism grew sharper, it remained much the same from 1943 to the organization’s elimination in 1948. This paper focuses on the centers of power within the Party that sought to eliminate JAC, and their growing influence with Stalin.
