Natalia Kuzovova analyzes the mechanisms of denial and distortion of Holodomor memory, which have intensified in the context of the Russia-Ukrainian war. In addition to traditional, modern practices include the destruction of memorials, the imposition of Soviet historical narratives, and the displacement of memory bearers due to the war and emigration. Examining these processes allows tracing transformation of historical memory into a key battlefield in the information warfare as well as its role in the contemporary struggle against Ukrainian identity.
