This paper deals with the articles and references of Mark Aldanov, a famous novelist, in Russian émigré newspaper “New Russian Word” and sheds light on his role in Russian language journalism in the postwar period in the United States. A large amount of his correspondence in the archival materials shows how he developed his network in the community in the interwar and the postwar periods. Besides his network in the correspondence, Aldanov has been known for his engagement in Russian-language journalism in Europe and the United States.
