This paper takes a qualitative approach with self-collected data on the experiences of 10 Slovak immigrants. This research gathers the experiences of Slovak immigrants and their relationship with the reasons they came to America, left Slovakia, how they instill transnationalism in their lives, and the gendered identities they occupy as a result of their migration.
