What are needed to rehabilitate Ukraine as well as Russia in this coming postwar period? We make preliminary observations on this topic. For this, first, we examine the growth path of the two economies after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Second, we look at war damage of population in the two. Third, we demonstrate the industrial and foreign trade structures of Ukraine and Russia in prewar period, 2019-2021, focusing on the potential of growth in the prospective future. Fourth, we consider possibilities in re-integration of the two into the world economy.
