Russian invasion of Ukraine underscores the critical need for governments to anticipate and counter real-world information attacks. This study employs qualitative analysis of Russian and Ukrainian messaging from the first year of the war, complemented by interviews with Ukrainian counter-disinformation officials and experts, to identify Ukraine’s prebunking strategies. By integrating these strategies with red teaming tools through a structured literature review, this research then explores gamified methods to build population resilience. These insights are synthesized into a framework called "narrative red teaming," aimed at countering emerging narratives and preventing their persistence, thereby fortifying defenses against malign influence.
