This presentation explores the evolving media consumption patterns of European young adults in the context of Russia’s war against Ukraine. Building on survey data presented at last year’s Tartu conference, this research now incorporates focus groups to gain deeper insights into attitudes toward war-related news. While initial results stem from Ukrainian students, ongoing research expands the scope to Dutch and Danish students. Given that these young people will shape Europe’s public discourse in the next 5–10 years, understanding their information habits and perceptions is crucial for assessing the future resilience of European societies to information disorders.
