This paper analyzes two testimonies by Zdenka Fantlová, a Holocaust survivor who was brought to Sweden in 1945. Comparing her first recorded testimony in The Testimonies of the Condemned (1945) with her 1996 memoir, the study examines how personal and collective memories evolve over time, shedding light on the transformation of Holocaust narratives in postwar Europe.
