I intend to present the impact of Milos Forman’s "One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest" (1975) on mental patients’ treatment. While Forman perceived his film as a metaphor of his native Czechoslovakia oppressed by a Communist regime, American specialists found Forman's feature based on Ken Kesey's novel (1962) damaging with lasting effects on the society. I will attempt to clarify Forman's position in this matter.
