Abstract

This paper addresses the memory of LGBTQ+ individuals and communities, a blind spot in academic research, and when discussed in the media, introduced as a series of novel occurrences. Through forgetting and erasure, different origin stories have emerged in postwar Kosovo, and with them different frames of gendered memories.
