This presentation explores how the socialist environment shaped the decision-making and business strategies of entrepreneurs in Poland, Germany, and Ukraine under capitalism. Based on qualitative research conducted until 2022, it examines the long-term influence of past economic and political conditions on entrepreneurial practices. The analysis highlights key differences and similarities in adaptation strategies across these countries.
