In her presentation, Amosava analyses the first grammar of the Belarusian language written in English and published in Canada in the 1970s, focusing on its structure, vocabulary and selected reading topics, and compares this textbook with a primer of Belarusian language published in Soviet Belarus in the 1960s. This comparison reveals anticipated differences in the two existing versions of the Belarusian language.
