The Kosovo War (1998–1999) remains a contested site of memory, shaped by political narratives, media representations, and cultural productions. This paper explores the role of literature in shaping and transmitting memories of the conflict. I aim to analyze contemporary Kosovar and international novels using close reading and discourse analysis, asking how literary texts contribute to, challenge, or reframe dominant historical discourses.
