Creativity is the ability to form novel and valuable ideas using imagination. How can this translate into the language classroom? This presentation will focus on creative approaches to teaching Russian in Slavic departments in Germany. The presenter will discuss methods such as creative writing, spontaneous dialogues, sketches, and rhymes for Novice and Intermediate students, as well as collaborative projects with Advanced learners. The talk will explore the balance between routine and creativity in language learning, emphasizing creativity as an open dialogue between students and instructors.
