The tradition of Russian falsifications of Ukrainian-Russian relations is very persistent. First of all, this applies to the historical narrative. The current state of affairs is different in that this kind of falsifications acquire their stable embodiment not only in various public sources, but, which is especially socially dangerous, in the didactic narrative.
In particular, we are talking about the "unified" textbook on the history of Russia by Medinsky and Torkunov, the purpose of which is to create an image of Ukraine as a hostile "Other."
