20 Years Later: Revisiting Organizing Aspirations of Labrys from the Realities of 2025

The paper will focus on reexamining the assumptions about LBTQ organizing in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, from 2004-2015 through reviewing Labrys’ publications, photos and written materials and oral history interviews conducted between 2009 and 2011.
