In 1618 a scholar from Kraków, Jan Brożek, undertook a journey to visit the places of the famous astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus (1473–1543). The documentation of his journey is a map on which Brożek drew his route and made several comments. In my paper I will try to answer two questions: How did Brożek imagine Copernicus’ places? And how did he contribute to making Copernicus a place of memory?
