This paper investigates the Sapieha family's palaces, castles, and estates as pivotal lieux de mémoire that embody the material legacy of a noble dynasty within the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. By examining their architectural features, historical transformations, and embedded symbolic narratives, the study illustrates how these sites have shaped collective memory and contributed to the evolving discourse of national identity.
