Abstract

This presentation looks at the new wave of Russian migrants who arrived in Serbia after 2022 and how they are building lives in Belgrade and Novi Sad. It shows how questions of identity, belonging, and politics play out in everyday life, and how their fragmented community reflects Serbia’s unique position between East and West.
