Brief Description

This roundtable presents The Anthem Americans in Revolutionary Russia series republishes American eyewitness accounts of the Russian Revolutionary era with expert introductions and annotations. Lyubov Ginzburg, Ivan Kurilla, and William Whisenhunt are planning to talk about those Americans who observed the evolution of Russia from February to October 1917 as well as to the Russian Civil War (be it Orrin Wightman, an American physician and photographer, Carl W. Ackerman, a journalist, or Anna Louise Strong, an American journalist and activist).
