Session Submission Type: Panel
The purpose of this panel is to investigate the use of force in Russian foreign policy. Since much of Russian foreign policy is based on the obsession with being a great global policy and the memory of that status in the past, Russia habitually uses and regularly threatens force in its foreign policy instances globally. Indeed, it regards the use of force with impunity as being an attribute of great power status. Therefore we believe that looking at these cases will improve our understanding of Russian foreign pollicy.
