Session Submission Type: Panel
We discuss Russia’s war economy from multiple perspectives. In the first panel, we analyze its future prospects and its past experience based on our unique statistical and empirical information. We meticulously examined Russia’s past policies as well as popular attitudes. In the second panel, we provide a statistical analysis of its current foreign economic relations, including foreign trade and remittances. China, India, Turkey, and the CIS countries are the main focus. From these analyses, we consider how resilient and how fragile Russia’s war economy is.
