Jie--Hyun Lim's new book,Victimhood Nationalism: History and Memory in a Global Age examines relations among Poland, Germany, Israel, Korea, and Japan, focusing on how memories of colonialism, the Holocaust, and Stalinist terror have converged and intertwined in transnational spaces. Our panelists are specialists in memory studies who will discuss the book from the vantage point of their expertise in Asian, African and East European History.
