In 1919, Bolshevik army tactics as well as occupation policies impacted the outcomes of the Civil War in the Baltics, Finland and Petrograd. These three papers will explore local events within this context, developing a new interpretation of Zinoviev, the Orthodox Church and forces for autonomy and independence in this region.
