Brief Description

The roundtable's primary focus is on Russian and Russophone Central Asian queer writing of the past couple of decades. The participants of the roundtable seek to explore and discuss two tendencies in the post-Perestroika queer writing: the supposed dominance of the autobiography and autofiction and young adult literature, both connected to "westernization" of queer Russophone discourse.
