Brief Description

"War and Peace," both a Russian nationalist epic and anti-war humanist masterpiece, is a particularly challenging text to teach at the time of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The participants of this roundtable will discuss the pedagogical and intellectual strategies they have developed for teaching this text to American undergraduates since 2022.
