Locating Safe Spaces for Food Insecure Female Community College Students

Abstract

This poster discusses the finding of a qualitative study conducted in the fall of 2016 at a community college in Massachusetts. The intent was to explore how female community college students find safe spaces on campus to disclose food insecurity utilizing narrative inquiry and feminist spatial theory.
