Abstract

Rejecting the assumption that higher education administrative careers are linear and hierarchical, this qualitative study examines what comes after serving as a president, provost, or dean. This roundtable creates space to consider leaders’ experiences and how four-year institutions are grappling with the increasing frequency of leader turnover.
