Introducing the Latinx Temporal Retention Model: A New Framework to Increase Latinx Students’ Success in College

Abstract

This paper introduces a new higher education retention model developed specifically for Latinx college students: The Latinx Temporal Retention Model. Each facet of the model was conceptualized from our analysis of Latinx access and retention literature, existing college retention frameworks, and the author’s scholarly personal narratives.
