Abstract

This quantitative study evaluated the persistence and graduation rates of six consecutive TRIO-SSS cohorts. The researcher found successes and weaknesses of TRIO-SSS, including a statistically significant difference in the mean persistence rates between private and public institutions. These findings have implications for policymakers who are committed to advancing student success.
