Key Attributes of a Campus TRIO Program in Supporting Student Success

Abstract

Underrepresented undergraduate students enrolled in a TRIO program shared their experiences. Results from various data sources suggested that the program played a greater role in students’ college success than other campus-sponsored student success programs. Personalized advising and a sense of belonging to a community complemented traditional support resources.
