'Allow Me to Reintroduce Myself’: Remixing Intergroup Dialogue through Hip-Hop Aesthetics

Abstract

Intergroup dialogue is grounded in white/Eurocentric frames of communication and sense-making, constructed for the benefit of white bodies. Reinterpreting dialogue as a pedagogical device, I deploy quare theory to assist in the decolonization and re-imagination of dialogue through the cultural aesthetics of hip-hop.
