Trans* Hope and Longevity: Preliminary Findings from Year One of a Longitudinal Study of Trans* Academics

Abstract

This proposal describes first year findings from a five-year longitudinal qualitative interview study. After interviewing 30 trans* academics about their experiences with how organizations and collegial relationships shape their experiences, I developed findings related to the gendered nature of organizations and the hopes that trans* academics had for their futures.
