Abstract

Predominantly White institutions (PWIs) present dynamic structures of power stratification for the subpopulations within them. Through a single-site case study of Black faculty/staff/administrators at a southern flagship PWI, we explored challenges and successes of Black faculty/staff/administrators supporting students’ activism and engagement to create greater discourse and coalitions between the groups.
