Abstract

Semi-structured interviews with 42 full-time faculty members at six four-year institutions examined work satisfaction. Respondents voiced overall satisfaction, but some faculty also expressed concerns related to their role, institution, or recent changes in higher education. Additional findings will be discussed, along with policy and program implications.
