Latina Student STEM Success: A Proposed Decision-Making Model

Abstract

This roundtable discussion proposes a decision-making model derived from three conceptual frameworks: intersectionality, Perna’s College Choice model, and Kirst and Bracco’s Bridge Project model. These perspectives provide a framework to examine how House Bill 5 impacts Latinas’ college and career choices as well as Latinas’ progress in the STEM pipeline.
