Abstract

This critical qualitative study analyzes interviews with 17 first-generation Latinx and Bi-Racial (Latinx and White) students. This study bridges funds of knowledge (Vélez-Ibañez & Greenberg, 1992), and social reproduction theory (Bourdieu, 1979/1984) to uncover how students shared information about college and served as role models to their families.
