Abstract

This study explores the experiences of higher education staff members engaged in advancing LGBTQ equity at a Midwest Rural University. This qualitative study advances a framework for queer leadership, illustrating how university staff advocate for LGBTQ equity in unwelcoming climates. Implications for higher education and student affairs leaders are discussed.
