The legibility of intersectionality in higher education research: A content analysis of three publications, 2002-2016

Abstract

This paper focuses on the usage of intersectional frameworks across three higher educational journals. Though researchers propose the use of intersectionality as a generative analytic, the analysis I provide suggests researchers’ use of intersectional frameworks do not articulate how its use transforms the processes of methodological formation and data interpretation.
