Abstract

Although national academic data has consistently highlighted gender-specific issues facing Black girls and women in K-16 education, scholarship has persistently overlooked their experiences. This roundtable investigates gaps in existing literature, reasons why those gaps persist and its implications, as well as effective ways to close this gap in research.
