A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words: Using Drawings to Explore Social and Cultural Capital Amongst STEM Students

Abstract

This study utilizes drawing to explore social and cultural capital amongst earth system science students. Findings reveal that (1) drawings can be a useful tool and (2) diverse individuals are influenced to purse the field by different types of capital.
